The Manel family began serving the community with asphalt services in 1952 with Emil Manel after he retired from his farming business and bought one of the very first front-end loaders in Rochester, NY. In 1973, Emil’s son Chuck joined the organization after graduating from the University of Rochester and took over the company as President, thus bringing about the company’s incorporation. In 2019, Chuck’s son Mike was given the opportunity to carry on the Manel Family Business. Mike has been owner and operator of Manel Sealers since 2003.
